Public Fountain Sculpture
For the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Building.
Description: My proposed sculpture would be placed at this location because of the unique setting of an artificial pond in the middle of Downtown LA. The pond has a beautiful view of downtown's Skyscrapers and at night the pond is illuminated by the city lights. Furthermore, the proposed sculpture would at to the already beautiful scenery and would serve as a symbol of the importance of water and power in a vast city. The Sculpture is based on Nikola Tesla Power Tower.
